Export Guide for Sellers

What Indian makers and brands need to sell to international buyers through Solomon Bharat.

1. Documents to keep ready

  • GSTIN (independent brands; individual artisans without GST can sell Curated by Solomon).
  • IEC (Importer Exporter Code) if you ship exports yourself.
  • Bank account in your business name for payouts.
  • HSN code for every product: it goes on the commercial invoice.

2. Listing a product

Every product needs: title, description, material, craft technique, region, dimensions, weight, colours and variants, MOQ, HSN code, lead time, made to order or ready stock, SKU, inventory and care instructions, with at least 2 high-quality photos. A short video and the story of the craft are recommended. Use Draft with AI to get a first description.

3. Packing for export

  • Pack every item to survive a long journey: wrap fragile pieces individually and use strong outer cartons.
  • Take clear photos of the packed goods before dispatch. They are used to judge any damage claim.
  • Download the commercial invoice and packing list for each order from your portal.

4. Curated by Solomon

Have the ordered goods ready on the collection date. We collect them, quality-check them at our Jaipur warehouse and ship them. You are paid when the order is dispatched.

5. Independent brands

Accept each order within 24 hours, then ship directly to the buyer with tracking and dispatch photos. You are paid on dispatch, net of commission. Buyers who join through your own invite link carry 0% commission and are paid as soon as they pay.
